TECHNICAL SEMINAR

Master Technical Seminar Overview

  • Eligibility: Open to NTA UK associated students from blue belt and above.
  • Focus Areas:
    • Patterns: Emphasising the correct application of the theory of power.
    • One-Step Sparring: A key fundamental element of Taekwon-Do.
    • Moral Culture & Etiquette: Insights from Master Hodson on Taekwon-Do’s deeper values.

Seminar Structure

  • Duration: 6 hours total.
    • First 4 hours: Open to all eligible students for training.
    • Last 2 hours: Reserved for 1st Kups and Black Belts who are pre-grading.

Pre-Grading Session

  • Participants: Only for students aiming for 1st Degree or higher.
    • Must be pre-assessed and invited by their instructors.
  • Preparation:
    • Bring your draft thesis (details in your Student Handbook).
    • Ensure you have the 2022 version of the Student Handbook which highlights the black belt grading guide (available in the shop if needed).

Additional Information

  • Lunch Break: A 30-minute break around midday.
  • Dress Code: Full Do-Boks only – no exceptions.
